Join us for the 2nd Annual Sandy Lake Block Party on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 510 PM. Enjoy unlimited food from the In-N-Out Cookout Truck, Taco Nation, and a pizza truck, plus three open bars, hydration stations, live DJs, yard games, beer pong, and plenty of kid-friendly fun, including face painting and balloon artists. Proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado’s “In-N-Out ER Initiative.”

Each year, more than 70,000 children and families rely on the Emergency Department at Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus often during urgent and stressful moments. The current space was not built to meet today’s demand, leading to long wait times and crowded conditions.

Children’s Colorado is reimagining how care begins through a redesigned intake and front-end experience that helps children get the right care more quickly. This proven approach has already reduced wait times significantly by improving patient flow and reducing bottlenecks.

Philanthropic support will transform outdated triage areas into a more efficient, welcoming environment enhancing access, improving navigation and ensuring faster, more coordinated care for every child.

By supporting this effort, our community can help lead a nationally recognized model of pediatric emergency care bringing timeliness, clarity, and compassion to families when they need it most.
