Hi I’m Dana, and I’ve been raising money for rare diseases since I was seven years old. It started with my friend Mila and Batten Disease, then Ollie and PANS, Ben with SMA, and Sophie with MCTO. And now, my own little brother Carson, who was just diagnosed with Eosinophilic Gastritis.
Carson has been cheering me on since he was tiny and he has helped with so much baking and fundraising for my friends. Now, I’m fundraising for him and all of the kids with EGIDs.
Please donate to support the Colorado Children’s Hospital Gastrointestinal Eosinophilic Diseases Program, which is a member of CEGIR, the Consortium of Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Research.
Carson is so lucky to be cared for by an incredible community of dedicated physicians and researchers. And while there are treatments for EGIDs, there’s still so much to learn. And currently, there is no cure.
Right now, we are not baking cookies. Our family is just focused on helping Carson get better. But I’m sure we’ll be hosting cookie pop-ups in the future.
Until then, please enjoy this photo of our cookies and savor the sweetness of knowing that your donations are supporting critical care and research for my little brother, Carson, and all the kids with Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases!
