Hi family, friends, and beyond! Liam is turning 10 and for his birthday this year instead of gifts, he has asked to collect donations to support the EOE and GI Department at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Here's a little about Liam's story...
In September of 2024 Liam was diagnosed with a chronic long-term condition called Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE). For years, we knew something might be wrong, but couldn’t figure out what it was. Liam would feel sick often, experience chest pain, throat tightening, random vomiting, stomach pains, trouble gaining weight and more. With the guidance of primary care, and partnership with the GI department at Children’s Colorado, Liam was able to receive a diagnosis and can continue to receive the ongoing care he needs to work towards putting this disease into remission. He is already feeling so much better!
After Liam’s most recent scope, he cried tears of joy out of appreciation for the doctors and hospital staff who are helping him on his journey managing this disease. Liam said, “Mom, can I give them my money? Can we help the hospital get more money to help other kids like me?”
So, here we are! We are asking for your support in making Liam’s birthday special, as this fundraiser is near and dear to his heart and he cannot wait to see how much we can raise!
We love you all, we appreciate you, and thank you for supporting Liam and Children’s Hospital Colorado!
