A burn injury changes a child's entire life in one second. The Children's Hospital Colorado Burn Camps Program is a camp program that helps children connect with peers who understand the fears and pain of overcoming a burn injury - no matter what the size. 

We work together for the growth and development of the campers; teaching them to look beyond their scars and reach for their dreams.

Because of generous donations, 126 participants attended Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Camps program this year. These children’s lives are forever changed as they continue healing beyond the walls and limitations of the hospital setting. Through the dedication and commitment of health care providers, firefighters and volunteers, the trauma of a burn injury is balanced by the hope that is instilled in the camp program.
