The ECMO team is excited debut with the Cardiac Climbers for the 2023 Courage Classic!

The Cardiac Climbers team rides to raise money for the Heart Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado. As part of the Heart Institute, the ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) team allocates money we raised directly to the Heart Institute for ChildLife support, nursing education, and research equipment and personnel. Over the past 14 years the Cardiac Climbers have raised over $1.3 million dollars for Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Riders may choose to dedicate their ride to a patient whom they have cared for while on ECMO or in the intensive care units in which specialists frequently work. We know that every patient we treat has family and friends that are also impacted by their illness, so we honor them each individually and are proud to ride alongside many patient families in this wonderful event.

This event is for riders of all ages and abilities. The Cardiac Climbers offer training rides, a kick off party, riding mentors and more! The ECMO team would be honored to have you join us and the Cardiac Climbers for this years Courage Classic!
