We're riding again for "Kids in Need" and are a spirited, dedicated team of University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center students, faculty, staff & friends who care greatly about children. If we raise $50,000 again your donations will support the Neuroscience Institute at Children's Hospital featuring Child Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Developmental Pediatrics.

We're riding for children with brain cancer, developmental disabilities of all kinds, epilepsy, stroke and many more disorders of the nervous system that present challenges for them.

This is our 12th year together for many of us; we began as Team AHEC at the inspiration of Dr. Jack Westfall, then were Jelly Belly for Kids  and most recently the "ARC Thrift Classics" the latter in recognition of their continued support of our team and in recognition of all they do for people with disabilities.  This year we are joining forces with our colleagues in Neurosurgery, the "Brainiacs," to become the "ARC Thrift Brainiacs."  Our generous sponsors (Arc Thrift, CereScan, DoudBTS, Cateye, Clifbar, Evergreen Bicycle Outfitters and many others) make it possible for us to enlist our medical center students to experience great teamwork working together that will follow them through their careers as health care providers, many, at our Children's Hospital Colorado which is one of the finest in our nation.
