Forest's parents Gladys and Casey knew they would be spending a few weeks at Children's Hospital Colorado after his birth in 2016, far away from their home in Montana. In utero, Forest was diagnosed with heart defects that would require open heart surgery at 7 days old. What they didn't see coming was Forest's rare diagnosis of CHARGE syndrome, a craniofacial disorder that, among other symptoms, sometimes caused Forest to stop breathing. Forest and his parents spent the first six months of his life in the Cardiac ICU at Children's Colorado.
In 2019, Gladys and Casey made the difficult decision to move to Colorado to be closer to the expert care at Children's Colorado. During that time, Courage Classic team members began riding in honor of Forest, and Casey began riding himself in 2020. At the 2024 Courage Classic, Casey crossed the finish line with seven-year-old Forest riding right behind him—an unforgettable moment made possible by the caregivers at Children's Hospital Colorado.

To help with our fundraising goal, all donations made through this page are eligible for an entry to win a NEW deluxe edition copy of Wonderland's War with the Premium Chips & the Shards of Madness expansion!

- Any donation of at least $5 = 1 entry
- Any donation of at least $20 = 5 entries
- Any donation of at least $50 = 15 entries
- If you donate $20 or more, you MUST check the box "Yes, you can display the amount of my donation publicly" so I know how many entries to give. Not checking this box will = 1 entry.
- Do NOT check the "I don't want to show on the rider's honor roll." If you do this, your donation will be anonymous, and I won't know who gets the entries.
- When donating, “Your name as you want it to show on the honor roll:” NEEDS to read like this “Name - WW - (how to contact you)” some examples:

- Raffle winner will be randomly drawn and announced live via Instagram (@reengineer_the_game) the night before the ride (Friday, July 18th at 5pm MST) and I will contact the winner at that time. If the winner does not respond by 5pm MST on Monday July 21st, a new winner will be drawn. I will NOT ask for additional payment or anything like that. Shipping will be covered by me.
- Must live in the United States to be eligible (I apologize but I do not want to ship outside of the US)
- To be eligible, your donation must meet the above criteria and be made prior to 4pm MST on Friday, July 18th.
