We ride in memory of sweet Myles Parker Lanz.
Myles was born with a rare mitochondrial disorder that his family was not aware of until his symptoms presented on his first birthday. Thanks to the phenomenal doctors at Children's Hospital Colorado, they had a diagnosis within twenty four hours of arriving at the hospital that day. With that devastating but incredibly important diagnosis, his family was able to shift their focus to ensuring Myles lived out the rest of his life in comfort and surrounded by love. We ride to support the Hospital and care providers that gave them clarity and support in the most challenging months of their lives and to honor the little boy who made the lives of all those around him so much brighter.
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children.
