I am volunteering at this event to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients like Piper (pictured above) and my co-workers' son Gavin.
On September 29, 2023, my co-workers son Gavin was diagnosed with osteosarcoma – a form of cancer that was growing as a solid tumor on his femur, above his knee.
After many rounds of chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado, and a lengthy procedure to remove the tumor and install an implant and knee replacement, Gavin is completing the chemotherapy protocol and recovering from the surgery.
Piper was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma – a form of cancer that was growing as a soft tumor in her spine. Today....also after many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation at Children’s Hospital Colorado, the creative, big-hearted elementary schooler is cancer free.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids. I hope you can donate to support this great event - 100% tax write off for you. It will be my honor to support my donors when I volunteer at the Classic this July.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
