Many of you know I had the privilege (yes, privilege) to be a patient this past winter. The perspective from the otherside of the stethoscope reminded me of many of the reasons I went into medicine. While I love caring for adults, supporting pediatric cancer patients has been a passion of mine pre-dating medical school. (For those who don't know I volunteered at pediatric cancer camps for 5 years before and during medical school, and ran the camp in 2009.) I ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for the children of Colorado and surrounding states. Help me to help them...it'll make my suffering just a bit more worthwhile.
