I am riding in the Courage Classic again this year because the money I raise goes to a great cause...Children's Hospitals of Colorado. I love riding and could have gotten the same thrill riding the "Triple Bypass" ride the following week but this ride is special. The Courage Classic raises money for a great non-profit that is helping young families with kids are critically ill with things cancer or who need major health procedures. Many of these young families are uninsured or under-insured and these hospitals are standing in the gap and saving lives.
My daughter, Lauren is NICU Nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs working with the very youngest of these patients. I am proud that my daughter one of the heroes that work at Children’s Hospital!
Angie, Lauren, and Lauren will all be out there supporting the cause as volunteers.
