I virtually ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients and their families. The Courage Classic is about working as a team to support Children's Hospital Colorado and teamwork is part of what makes this place so special. It is critical to achieving the best outcomes for children like AH, who was orphaned by HIV, has congenital HIV himself, and two different lung problems stemming from that (cared for by a pulmonologist, an infectious disease specialist, a social worker, a psychologist, an ENT physician, a speech therapist); or LH, who has asthma, a rare immunodeficiency disorder and a rare kidney disorder (cared for by a pulmonologist, immunologist and nephrologist); or AT who has surivived two forms of cancer including receiving a bone marrow transplant, but developed progressive bronchiolitis obliterans and needed a lung transplant (cared for by a pulmonologist, oncologist, endocrinologist, physical therapist, social worker, ophthalmologist).
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like those above. Will you please support my team?
