This is my second time riding the courage classic and I couldn't be more excited to again represent the heart institute out on the open road. With every turn of our wheels, we'll be fundraising to support all of the patients that visit Children's Hospital Colorado for exceptional care and I am so honored to be a part of this team. This year, I'm riding for Jayla, a little lady who has been with us on our unit since her birth. Here is her story, per her Mom Brianna: Jayla Angelique was diagnosed with tetralogy of fallot and pulmonary atresia at 21 weeks gestation. When she was born she was also diagnosed with MAPCAs. Jayla lives 10 hours away and has been in Colorado since birth. Jayla will undergo open heart surgery in August when she is 6 months old and has plans to finally go home to New Mexico!
With your support, I will be riding 160 miles up near Vail, Colorado. Any donation you can make is highly appreciated. It's such a joy to see the extended family of those who are able to lend a hand to make this ride a reality. From Jayla, and all of the little kiddos like her, thank you so very much.
