Hello Family and Friends! 3 years ago this month, our 2-month-old Super Piper had open-heart surgery to correct a congenital heart defect (TAPVR). The Heart Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado will forever be a place that literally changed our little Piper's heart and life - and our entire family - for the better. We are so very thankful for our memorable experience there and especially thankful for the caring and talented staff and doctors working there.
We are always thankful for a chance to give back and raise money for this amazing hospital. Our family is planning to spend the weekend at Copper Mountain on July 20 & 21, participating in our 2nd Courage Classic Bicycle Tour. We have again joined the Cardiac Climbers Team to directly support the Heart Institute. The Cardiac Climbers is a cycling team made up of patients, families, friends, and healthcare providers who ride to raise money for the Children's Hospital Colorado Heart Institute. All the money we raise goes directly back to the Heart Institute for equipment, support and education. Over the past 14 years they have raised over $1.3 million dollars.
