I am thrilled to be riding again this year for my daughter, Siena!
Siena was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome – a genetic disorder caused by an extra chromosome. We are so lucky to have The Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children's Hospital Colorado. It is the leading care provider for kids with Ds and the leading research provider.
Care for children and people with Ds has not been prioritized so their work is incredibly important for our daughter and our family. Just like all parents, we want our kids to be healthy, and cared for correctly when they aren't. The Sie Center and their research partnerships are the lifeline to our daughter getting the care she needs in the future. There is so much more research to do, and they are rising to the challenge for families like ours.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like Siena. Please donate to our cause, and consider joining our team and ride with us! It's an uplifting and community building event that we cherish. All levels of riders are welcome!
