Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2024 Courage Classic,
In this, my 10th year riding in Courage Classic, I have a renewed sense of energy to support Children's Hospital. Since last year's race, my young nephew Micah (cousin's son), was diagnosed with a brain tumor. As you can imagine, this has been a very scary time for our family and especially his parents, siblings and grandparents. Micah and his family have shown such incredible grit as they have navigated a host of treatments and I’m happy to report that thus far he is fortunately doing well. Throughout it all, the passionate doctors and caretakers at Children's have supported their journey with grace, expertise and compassion.
Through this experience and other investigations, I've learned that charitable giving is even MORE important to institutions like Children's than I previously thought. Philanthropy helps ensure that such hospitals can remain at the cutting edge of clinical care and can provide the latest technologies and clinical advances. Additionally, I know rising cost pressures here in Colorado, have forced difficult staffing decisions.
So, to help Children's expand research and capabilities, a few of us are riding in the Courage Classic again this year. I hope you will consider a donation of any size.
