I ride to give hope to Children's Hospital Colorado and each patient we care for.
My patients are just days old, young kids, teenagers and young adults , who live with breathing problems of all types including asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, interstitial and restrictive lung disease, cardiac disease and neurologic disorders. I do not take any breath for granted and am inspired everyday by each baby or child I meet, each worried and determined caregiver, each team member who helps support our care at CHCO. I am proud to support them as I commit to this ride, pushing my body, my team to the limit.
