Many of you know that I was a congenital heart patient and had a scary start to my life. You know I had three open heart surgeries over the years between birth and junior year of college. I'm very public about the fact that I had a heart and liver transplant almost 2-1/2 years ago.
Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to ride the Courage Classic. But when I moved back to Denver at the end of 2020, that became my goal - to ride at least the 10 mile family ride - AT ALTITUDE, which tops at more than 10,000 feet!!! I may not be fast, but I'm registered and I'm going.
In order to ride in person I have to raise $500 (or more!) by June 27th.
Help me support Children's of Colorado, whose amazing doctors have become friends, who supported me as I transitioned from pediatic congenital care to adult congenital care, and ultimately to that transplant that led me back here!
With many thanks,
