Please consider donating to support our Children's Colorado program "ARCH" which provides year round recreational activities for kids and young adults with physical disabilities. ARCH stands for Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health, and is a growing therapeutic recreation program at my hospital that gives kids with diabilities a way to enjoy recreation and the outdoors.
For all kids, regardless of their body or ability, health is improved with active participation in recreation and leisure activities. By encouraging recreational activity, children have the opportunity to continue building on their abilities.
The Rehab Cycling Club is founded by ARCH and funds raised will go towards supporting and expanding the program to meet the needs of more children throughout the region. ARCH includes a long-standing adaptive ski and snowboard program that a number of my program's Peds Rehab Fellows have volunteered with and also expanding to adaptive climbing, fishing, golfing to name a few!
