Why I ride
My family rides the Courage Classic together in celebration of my daughter, Katie. Katie was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 9 months old and, thanks to the excellent care she received at Children's Hospital Colorado, she has been cancer free for 13 years. Katie went through two years of intensive chemotherapy, spending much of those two years inpatient at Children's. We ride with Wheels of Justice, a team dedicated to supporting cancer research at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital.
