Hello all,
This July, I will be riding in the Courage Classic to benefit Children's Hospital Colorado. For six and a half years, I had the privilege of working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Colorado. Here, I helped care for the sickest children in a seven-state region.
Since then, I have shifted across the street to care for adults in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. So, for this year's Courage, I will be riding for the Brainiacs team to help the Children's Neurosciences department. My hope is to raise funds and ride for the numerous children with brain cancer and seizures that I helped care for while in the PICU.
I am asking for your donation to help these children and their families as they navigate their illnesses and to help the numerous research endeavors aimed at discovering new treatments and better understanding of these diseases.
