I'm riding in the Courage Classic for more than beautiful scenery and camaraderie on the Dare to Ride team. I ride for Raphael and the many children like him. Children's Hospital doctors saved my son's life 12 years ago when he was born with medical conditions that, sadly, a lot of children with Down Syndrome confront at birth.
The Anna & John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children's has, in the years since, been the reason our family can go to doctors and therapists who are familiar with Down Syndrome and the many ways it can make it challenging to live a healthy life. Today, with their help, Raphael is thriving.
We're fortunate to have such an institution where we live. I don't say lucky, because it isn't luck. Children's Hospital and The Anna and John J. Sie Center exist due to the hard work and support of many people. You can be one of them.
The Courage Classic ride is a great way to give. Donate today. Every contribution helps improve someone's life.
