Why I ride
This summer, I will once again be riding in support of the Neuroscience Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado. This is a cause very near and dear to me. Owen is now an adult with a bright future ahead of him, but he was regularly served by this hospital growing up. He had numerous outpatient visits, at least half a dozen ER visits, a couple procedures and even one or two inpatient stays. He always received the best care from the outstanding physicians and medical staff there. It was always so reassuring as a parent knowing that this wonderful resource was basically in our neighborhood.
Children's Hospital Colorado provides advanced care to sick and injured kids from across the region, no matter the resources of the families being served. I have the privilege of calling many doctors and nurses at Children's friends and they are some of brightest, most dedicated and compassionate people I know. I am always honored to have the opportunity to support them and the work that they do each year. Please condider supporting my ride and helping kids in there moment greatest need. Thank you!
