Why I ride
This year, I was planning to ride the Courage Classic for the 17th time. Until I broke my elbow on the 4th of July, that is. Anyway, over the years, I've met a number of amazing people from all walks of life, with a common thread that their lives have been touched by Children's Hospital Colorado. Many of these stories have positive outcomes, and it is truly a joy to celebrate these. But too often, we are remembering a child taken by cancer. Unfortunately, we don't yet have a known cure for too many of these cancers.
Please help in the fight against childhood cancer by supporting my ride in this year's Courage Classic. As part of team Wheels, donations to our team are directed to research and wellness programs at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital Colorado.
