Why I ride
I continue to support Children's Hospital Colorado by participating in the Courage Classic. This year the ride is back to normal. It is a two day ride with several routes available each day.
This will be my 21st time participating in the Courage Classic. The ride benefits the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation. This year and the past seven years I've been riding with the team Summits for Samantha/Team Epsilon. The focus of this team is Mitochondrial Disease. Because of the efforts of this team, the Rocky Mountain Region is now researching and hosting clinics for this disease.
My goal this year is to raise $1,000 for Summits for Samantha/Team Epsilon and the Children's Hospital Colorado.
The Courage Classic has always been a well done event. It's been fun as well as challenging. Everyone envolved has done a lot to make this event enjoyable and successful. It is always great to see the Team Courage riders on the course. These are the children that have been helped by Children's Hospital Colorado.
Help me help them.
Thanks, Steve Fifer
