WHY I RIDE
2025 the Wheels of Justice will celebrate 20 years of fundraising and it will mark my 18th year as a member of this team. We will be training near and far to tackle the mountain passes the weekend of July 19th and 20th, 2025. This year the ride is in memory of Martha.
For our 20th year, we honor Martha Riedel, forever 20 years old.
Martha was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in 2015, and rode in every Courage Classic from that date on, until she died, April 15, 2022.
Martha’s BEST - “Martha’s Better Ewing sarcoma Treatment for All”
In October of 2017, Martha testified at 15 years old about the importance of using the immune system to attack cancer.
Her testimony inspired anonymous donors to fund a $1M grant to The St. Baldrick's Foundation aimed to find a cure for Ewing sarcoma. The grant is soon to wrap up and the team is hopeful to enter clinical trials soon.
The Wheels team rides as a fiery community dedicated to improving treatment and research within CCBD. We are honored to dedicated our 20th Tour to Martha Riedel. Over 200 riders strong, in 2025 we are going to break $7,000,000 celebrating our 20th ride!
The money we raise directly benefits the pediatric cancer and blood disorders program at Children's Hospital. Your donation will be GREATLY appreciated. Many of you have been so generous in the past. If you can support these kids, doctors, and great care takers in any way this year, we will be truly grateful. Know that every dollar counts. NO AMOUNT is too small. Donate your Starbuck's drink you were going to buy and that $5 will add up to thousands of dollars....just from my contacts alone. This year I will conquer $100,000 in personal fundraising for the CCBD and I thank everyone who has supported me over the years......some who have donated ALL 18 years!!!
MANY Thanks!!
Bradley
