I am supporting the Courage Classic for kids that depend on Children's Hospital Colorado for vital medical and psychiatric care. This will be my 9th ride and I will be riding with my son Ronan for his 2nd tour.

I was a psychiatric nurse for 2 years on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit at Children's Hospital Colorado. Colorado is in the midst of a pediatric psychiatric crisis and we are on the front lines doing everything we can for kids who are struggling and need our support.

The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children. My son was an oncology patient at Children's Hospital Colorado. It was a great feeling to give back to the hospital that saved our son, Ronan. Ronan had neurosurgery at Children's Hospital and now is a happy and healthy boy. He is doing amazingly well and we have the entire team of doctors, nurses and practitioners that cared for Ronan at Children's to thanks for his amazing recovery. Ronan and I will ride together to support all the kids and their dedicated caregivers.
