I ride to give all the kids who utilize services through Children's Hospital of Colorado hope! I have seen alot of different examples of amazing courageous kids and families through my pediatric career. Starting during my residency at Children's and through my fellowship in Hematology Oncology. Kids who persevered through innumerable challenges while their families were dedicated and loving. I learned how challenging parenting could be and how working with Children's Hospital of Colorado could make those challenges a bit easier. As many of you know my son Ryden is a special guy. He has Williams Syndrome and Autism. He is non verbal and uses a communication device to express himself. He is a rockstar swimmer, rock climber, and bourgeoning cyclist himself as you could see. We have seen many specialists and done a few sedated procedures over the years and I have always been impressed by the exceptional care he has received. I ride for him and all the kiddos who benefit from services at Children's!
