Brainiacs
We’re excited to kick off the 2026 Courage Classic on July 18-19 and would love for you to join us! The Brainiacs are a passionate team of University of Colorado students, faculty, staff, and friends, riding in support of The Children’s Hospital Colorado and its Neuroscience Institute.
This year, we’re riding to raise essential funds for groundbreaking research into neurological disorders that affect children. Your donations will directly support advancements in care for conditions such as developmental disabilities, epilepsy, strokes, and other challenges of the nervous system. Our team intends to fundraise a total of $65,000 (or more) and designate to the Research Fund for Child Neurology.
Every contribution makes a significant difference. For example, your support helps fund:
- Participation in the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Consortium (PERC), a vital program that drives collaborative research and provides critical insights into new treatments for children with epilepsy.
- The Neuroscience Institute (NSI) internship program, which helps foster early-stage research, offers hands-on experience to young aspiring doctors and researchers, and enables junior faculty to advance their careers by developing innovative projects focused on pediatric neurological disorders.
