Kick Cancer's Ass is fundraising to

ensure kids and families get world-class care

2026 Courage Classic Bicycle Tour

Kick Cancer's Ass

We ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients like
Delaney.

Delaney Goodner was fought Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma from 2008 - 2011. She passed on 12/9/2011.  We’ll miss and love Delaney
forever, but we know that she had the best possible care, the
treatment was on her terms, and I believe her death was also. She was
willing to go only after all options were explored and she knew her
body could take no more. Though Children’s wasn’t a place she
wanted to be, she loved & trusted her doctors and nurses.

You may be interested in the story behind our team name, Kick Cancer’s
Ass. When Delaney was in her first year a treatment we met a young
man who was diagnosed with a childhood cancer during his freshman
year of college. Unfortunately we met him during his final stay at
Children’s before heading home for 1 last visit. He told his mom to
tell Delaney to ‘Kick Cancer’s Butt!’ When we formed our
Courage Classic team we started with that and Delaney’s brothers
did a teenage modification to ‘Kick Cancer’s Ass!’ – and we
keep riding and fundraising to support this cause!

The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and
healthier futures for kids.  We ride to improve treatments to reduce relapses, side-effects, and prolong life.  We ride for the kids.

Our team intends to designate our fundraising to the Center for Cancer
and Blood Disorders General Fund, which may be used for any purpose
for CCBD.
