Psyched to Climb

Welcome to Psyched to Climb

Psyched to Climb is the only Courage Classic team riding explicitly for youth mental health.

We ride to raise critical funds for the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado and to raise awareness, spark conversation and help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our team is made up of grateful patients, family members, providers, advocates and compassionate supporters from all walks of life. Together, we believe in the power of the butterfly effect: that every mile ridden, every dollar raised and every story shared can create meaningful change for children, teens and families.

Why join us?

When you join Psyched to Climb, you become part of something bigger than a ride.

You become part of a community that shows up for children and families facing mental and behavioral health challenges. You join a team united by hope, compassion and the belief that every child deserves access to the care and support they need to heal and thrive.

Whether you’re a returning participant or joining Courage Classic for the first time, there is a place for you here. We welcome:

  • Riders
  • Volunteers
  • Virtual participants

As part of Psyched to Climb, you’ll find:

  • a mission that truly matters
  • a supportive and welcoming team community
  • opportunities to raise both funds and awareness for youth mental health
  • team-specific communications, resources and encouragement throughout the season
  • a chance to ride, give and advocate alongside others who care deeply about this cause

Psyched to Climb is about more than the miles. It’s about community, connection and collective impact.

From team updates and fundraising support to ride weekend gatherings, team gear and shared purpose, we’re proud to ride together for something that matters so deeply.

Why we fundraise

The need for pediatric mental health care has never been more urgent.

Every day, children and teens face anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health challenges. Families are searching for answers, support and hope. Funds raised through Psyched to Climb help support the Pediatric Mental Health Institute, advancing care for young people across Colorado and the seven-state Rocky Mountain region. Every donation helps move this work forward. Every participant helps shine a light on the importance of youth mental health.

Stay connected

Our team newsletters are the best way to stay informed throughout the Courage Classic season. They include Psyched to Climb-specific updates, fundraising tips, important reminders and event weekend details.

We also offer optional SMS/text updates for occasional team alerts. We keep texts to a minimum, but they can be especially helpful for timely reminders and last-minute updates.

Help us grow

We’re building a strong, passionate team and would love to have you with us. If you believe in supporting youth mental health, invite your friends, family and coworkers to join, give or cheer us on.

The more people who ride and fundraise with us, the greater our impact for kids and families.

Make your fundraising personal

One of the most powerful things you can do is share why you ride.

When you personalize your fundraising page and tell your story, people connect with your reason for showing up — and they’re more likely to give. Whether your connection is personal, professional or rooted in advocacy, your voice can inspire support and help raise awareness for this important cause.
