Why we ride
Join us July 18-19, 2026 at Copper Mountain! We ride to raise money for the Heart Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado. All money raised goes directly back to our heart warriors, including funding neurodevelopmental and cardiac rehabilitation programs and catalyzing cutting-edge research projects throughout the department. Over the past 20 years, we have raised over $2.2 million dollars!
Each rider on our team dedicates their ride to a heart warrior who has been or is cared for at Children's Hospital Colorado. If you would like to nominate your heart warrior to provide their story and photo to help fundraise for the Heart Institute, message or speak with your provider today. We also invite heart families to join our team barbecue at Copper Mountain Chapel (630 Copper Rd, Frisco, CO 80443) on Saturday afternoon, July 18th, 2026 from 3-6pm! Please check with your cardiac provider if your heart warrior utilizes supplemental oxygen or has concerns with travel to altitude, as the event takes place at 9,700' elevation. Evite will be sent to participating families for RSVP. We hope you and your warrior can join our Cardiac Climbers community!
