Team Metamorphosis rides to transform the lives of individuals with epidermolysis bullosa, also known as EB
EB is a group of rare, genetic disorders characterized by fragility of the skin and mucous membranes. Minor trauma leads to blisters, wounds, and other health complications. Children with EB are sometimes called "Butterfly Children" because their skin is as delicate as a butterfly's wings.
Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) is home to one of a few EB Centers of Excellence in the United States. Our team is committed to improving the health and quality of life of individuals with EB through exceptional patient care, innovative research, education, and advocacy.
3 treatments for EB are now approved by the FDA, but many gaps in the care of EB remain. Help Team Metamorphosis elevate the work of the EB Center at CHCO. Your support amplifies our work to promote awareness about EB, improve care, and fund impactful research to transform the lives of people with EB.
