Hi, I'm Keegan. I have been going to the Children's Hospital for a very long time and they help me a lot so that's why I'm raising money for it, and so more people will come to the Sie Center for Down syndrome.
I like to talk about myself - I like horror movies and to create monsters, meta-humans, demons, villians and bad guys. I am a great special Olympian in swimming, skiing, track, golfing and a bunch of fun activities to do outside. Someday, I would like to be a country singer or artist or to be famous - I can't wait for my first song to be released. I also might like to be a cowboy who works on a farm or a ranch.
When I go to the Sie Center for Down syndrome, I feel like I belong there, and I am in good hands of kind people. I feel so good inside and I get peaceful when I go to Children's hospital.
Here's what my mom wanted to say: "While pregnant with Keegan, I suspected that he had Down syndrome. Global and the Sie Center for Down syndrome came up in my brief online search, and I was simultaneously amazed and assured at the resource that had just opened its doors in the state we lived! After Keegan was born, happy and healthy and with a third 21st chromosome, I scheduled an appointment at the Sie Center, wondering if it would be worth our time to travel across the state with our seven week old infant who was thriving, who didn't "need" medical care at Children's Hospital. It was one of the best decisions we made and set the course for this 15-year relationship we've had with the Sie Center for Down syndrome. The incredible life-saving and life changing work that Children's Hospital Colorado does every minute of every day comes in so many forms - for me it has been steadfast support and immediate expertise with the Sie Center for Down syndrome. Please help us raise money for this incredible resource and help other kids like Keegan!"
