I am supporting the Courage Classic for all of the kids who have been supported by Children's Hospital Colorado and the fundraising from generous people like you!
I started riding in the Courage Classic in 2012 as part of Team Courage, a team dedicated to riding with those who could not pedal up all those climbs on their own. I rode as a team the following two summers, at the front of a tandem bicycle so my stoker (rear rider on the tandem!) would have a chance to say she conquered riding up Vail pass, Swan Mountain, and all of the amazing roads that are featured in the CC. The joy we both felt in crossing that finish line those two years was indescribable.
I may not be captaining that tandem this year, but Stuart and I still have the drive to get up those hills and fundraisers money for all of the programs that bring the patients of CHCO Orthopedics the amazing care that they need and deserve. These moneys will continue to support our departments research goals, so that we can bring up-to-date, quality care to those who need it most.
We cannot ride unless we fundraise!! So I am kindly asking for some support so Stuart and I can make it up those hills again this year!
