This year for the first time, I am riding alongside my mom, who is a neonatologist in the NICU at Children's Hospital Colorado. Even though I'm only six years old, I've grown up hearing stories about the tiny babies and families my mom helps every day. I've learned that some babies are born much too early and have to spend months in the hospital getting stronger before they can go home. I want to ride because I want to help those babies and their families, and because I know how much the care at Children's Hospital means to them.
For the past two years I have cheered my parents on from the sidelines and now I'm ready to ride!
