I am supporting the Courage Classic and riding for Cailey.
This is my first time riding the Courage Classic with the Cardiac Climbers. I am excited to ride for such a great cause and to support such a lovely community. Last year, Cailey and I participated in and volunteered for the local heart walk. It was a very moving event, and I enjoyed chatting with a number of the families. Having not cycled consistently in a few years, I have also really enjoyed the benefit of getting back on the bike in preparation for the Courage Classic.
Cailey is not just a Heart Warrior and a lovely person who lights up every room she walks into with her smile, enthusiasm, and sincere curiosity—she is also my partner. I am so proud to be riding not only for Cailey, but also with Cailey up those Rocky Mountain climbs. She will be pedaling away right next to me on her sea-foam green—or, as she likes to correct me, "Celeste"—road bike.
Cailey cares deeply about this cause and community. She inspires me every day with her loving and compassionate spirit. A donation to this page and to the Cardiac Department would be so appreciated, and it is a wonderful reflection of Cailey’s Heart Warrior spirit.
