I will be joining the Orthopedics' Bony Express team as my wife Janet works there as a genetic counselor in the skeletal dysplasia program. Her team works with children with genetic conditions such as dwarfism and brittle bone disease.
As some of you know, we spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital Colorado when our son Kailash was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition when he was 7. We were very grateful for the expertise, guidance, and compassion that was extended by our care team during a very challenging period. Kailash also appreciated the extra mile the nurses went to help him feel comfortable. The quality of care at Children's just keeps getting better, as reflected in its status as one of the top 10 Children's Hospitals in the country!
My connection with Children's Hospital Colorado is enhanced by Richtr Financial Studio's Life Science clients at the Anschutz Medical Campus (and beyond) who are developing new treatments offering hope and promise for children and adults. Kailash benefited from the efforts of small innovation companies who produced his life-changing treatments.
