I am supporting the Courage Classic.
Cooper Deming, son of my friend Amy, passed away in 2017 from a form of brain cancer called DIPG. From onset to the time of his death only 10 months elapsed. At the time, there really were no treatment options.
I, myself, and my family and friends also lost our loved one in 2022. My beautiful wife, Deanna, passed away at the young age of 50. Although her life was also cut short, it is impossible for me to imagine the loss of those who have not have the chance to live to even a fraction of that age.
When Cooper fell ill, very little progress had been made. But, right now we are in the most exciting moment in DIPG research ever. Technology finally exists to target this cancer with personalized, precision treatments --- like CAR T-cell therapies moving from the lab to the clinic.
This year, we have a massive opportunity: a 2X matching fund. There has truly never been a better or more critical time to give. Please take a moment to read our story and join us in making a difference.
Thank you!
