Last year, my uncle Tom passed away. He was 35 years old and had Down syndrome. We flew to Denver for his memorial service. Everyone there really loved Tom and we miss him very much! My favorite memory of Tom is going to Chuck E Cheese with him when I was six. We both loved that place!
This year, I'm joining my Grandad and Aunt Cynthia at the Courage Classic in Copper Mountain, Colorado, to ride our bikes as part of team Dare to Ride. This team benefits the Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children's Hospital, a clinic that is working hard for longer, healthier lives for people like Tom.
Thanks for helping me reach my fundraising goal as we celebrate Tom's memory and have fun with the Dare to Ride team!
