My name is Adira, and I will be 8 years old at the end of July. I love swimming and biking, and this year I'm excited to ride 22 miles with my mom in the mountains for the Courage Classic! I've never biked that far before, but I'm ready for the challenge because I want to help kids.
I am riding to support kids like Ari. When Ari was very little, doctors found that his spine was growing in a way that made it hard for his body to grow properly. He had to wear a special brace almost all day, every day, but thanks to the amazing doctors and caregivers at Children's Hospital Colorado, he got the help he needed. Today, Ari is an active kid who loves riding his bike and shows courage every day.
