Zeke was born with HLHS. He had his first open heart surgery at 2.5 weeks old. At two months old we learned he was in heart failure. At four months old he was listed for transplant; two weeks later he was placed on a Berlin VAD. He was intubated for most of the first five months of his life and had four open heart surgeries. He received his new heart at 11 months old and was finally able to leave the hospital 387 days after he was born. Zeke is so brave and so strong; he has been an inspiration to so many. His smile lights up the room. We are so grateful to everyone who fought for him and supported him
