I am riding in the Courage Classic on behalf of all my patients at the Childrens Hospital Colorado.
In my final weeks as a Resident at the Childrens Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado I am riding as a part of the official team of the CU Pediatrics Residency: the Wheely Tired Residents!
Over the past four years, I have had the incredible privilege of completing my medical residency Pediatrics and Medical Genetics at Children's Hospital Colorado. During that time, I have cared for countless children and families whose resilience never ceased to amaze me.
This year, as I complete my residency and transition into my next role as a Medical Biochemical Genetics Fellow at Children's Hospital Colorado, I wanted to find a meaningful way to give back to a place that has given so much to me. That's why I am riding in the Courage Classic, a 162 mile cycling event over two days that raises critical funds to support Children's Hospital Colorado (since Pediatric hospitals don't get reimbursed by insurance at the same level as adult hospitals).
The Courage Classic helps ensure that Children's Hosptial Colorado can continue providing exceptional care, advancing research, supporting families, and saving the lives.
Thank you for considering a donation and for helping support the care of our children and families.
