This year, I’m riding in my first Courage Classic, and I couldn’t be more excited to support a cause that means so much to my family.
In 2019, my younger brother Jeremy had open-heart surgery at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He was born with a congenital heart defect that would have been life-threatening without treatment. Watching him go through that experience was scary, but the doctors, nurses, and staff at Children’s Hospital took incredible care of him every step of the way.
Today, Jeremy is healthy, active, and living a completely normal life, and our family will always be grateful for the care he received.
I’ve grown up hearing stories about the Courage Classic and cheering on family members who have ridden it year after year. This is my first time participating, and it feels especially meaningful knowing the impact Children’s Hospital has had on my own family.
I’m riding to help support the kids and families who are facing challenges like the one Jeremy faced. Every donation helps Children’s Hospital Colorado continue providing lifesaving care to thousands of children each year.
Thank you for supporting me and this amazing cause. It truly means a lot.
