We ride in the Courage Classic for our son, Jude!!!
Jude is our heart. He is joy, resilience, determination and the purest kind of love you can imagine. As a child with Down syndrome, Jude faces challenges most people may never see, yet he meets the world with a light that is impossible to ignore.
When our family made the decision to move back to the United States, we chose Colorado very intentionally. We chose it because of the life-changing programs, the level of care, and the unwavering support available for children like Jude.
And that decision has meant everything.
From the very beginning, the care and compassion we’ve received from Children’s Hospital Colorado and especially the incredible team at the Sie Center for Down Syndrome has been nothing short of extraordinary.
They don’t just treat Jude ~ they truly see him. They celebrate who he is, they invest in who he’s becoming, and they walk alongside our family every step of the way. In moments of uncertainty, they’ve been our steady ground. In moments of growth, they’ve been our loudest cheerleaders.
Because of them, we have hope; real, tangible hope for Jude’s future.
That’s why we ride.
We ride for Jude ~ for every milestone, every challenge, every hard-earned victory.
We ride to honor the doctors, therapists, and caregivers who pour their hearts into children like him.
And we ride so that every family has access to the same level of care and support that led us to build our life here in Colorado.
Jude shows us every single day what courage looks like.
This ride is our way of showing up for him.
