This July I am riding in the Courage Classic in honor of Peyton, a heart warrior near and dear to me!
This sweet girl has a smile that lights up a room and her joy is truly infectious! Through many obstacles, hospitalizations, and unknowns Peyton and her family remain steadfast. Peyton is pure light and her family shows up for her in ways most can’t imagine.
Here is a little snippet from her parents, "Peyton Angus was born with Turner's Syndrome and the SCN5A mutation. These babies tend to have cardiac abnormalities and Peyton has collected quite a few. Despite having open heart surgery, Peyton is in heart failure and continues to push through her struggles everyday! She truly is a Heart Warrior! ".
My goal is to fundraise $500 towards projects that impact the Heart Institute and provide innovative care for children like Peyton.
