I am riding to support Lucian, Lamine, and their family as they continue this difficult journey together—holding onto faith, hope, and the dream of having both boys back home side by side where they belong.
Lucian and Lamine came into the world together—tiny twin boys with soft curls, sleepy eyes, and little hands always reaching for one another. From the very beginning, they were inseparable.
Then came the diagnosis: dilated cardiomyopathy.
Both boys were born with fragile hearts struggling to pump the way they should. But as the months passed, their journeys began to look very different.
Lamine’s heart remained more stable, allowing him to stay home surrounded by family, bedtime cuddles, and the comfort of familiar routines. Every day, his medications are carefully given with love while his family continues to pray over both boys.
But Lucian became much sicker.
His days are now spent inside a hospital room surrounded by machines, wires, and a medical team constantly watching over his fragile heart. At such a young age, Lucian has already learned what it means to fight with courage. Even on the hardest days, he still finds ways to smile.
Every day, Lucian fights to grow stronger with one goal in his heart—to finally come home and be beside his twin brother again.
Though the twins are separated by hospital walls, their bond has never broken. One sleeps beneath hospital lights while the other sleeps beneath the glow of a nightlight at home, both connected by love, strength, and hope.
Two little boys.
Two fragile hearts.
One unbreakable bond.
