On July 18 & 19, I will participate in the most inspiring event of my summer: The Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Courage Classic. I am proud to be riding for the Psyched To Climb team. We will ride to raise awareness and critical funds for youth mental health in general and specifically in support of The Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Pediatric Mental Health Institute. The Institute is advancing care for young people across Colorado and the seven-state Rocky Mountain region.
I am riding over 150 Miles in 2 days because the need for pediatric mental health care has never been more urgent. Daily our young people face anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Currently, suicide is the leading cause of death for young people ages 10 to 24 in Colorado. Families are searching for answers and need our help.
Children’s Hospital Colorado is dedicated to moving our state from a pediatric mental health emergency to a future where every child and young person can access the care they need. Your donation helps close critical funding gaps at a time when mental health crises among youth in Colorado remain at alarming levels.
Please join us to be part of the movement to provide essential services and to break the stigma around mental health!
