Riding for Every Heart that Needs a Little Help
Once again, Weff and I are riding the Courage Classic to support the Heart Institute at Colorado Children’s Hospital in honor of our son, Alexander, and the incredible team that has cared for him.
Xan Man was born with severe IUGR and multiple congenital heart defects. Before he ever arrived, our lives became a world of NICUs, cardiac imaging, surgical planning, and sleepless nights in the hospital. Through every test, echo, and round of monitoring, the cardiology team stood by us with clinical excellence and the kind of compassion that keeps optimism alive when you’re running low.
Today he is a fun-loving 15-month-old who loves to make animal noises, crawls after his parents, and desparately wants to walk. Without the help of the team at Children's, we wouldn't have our morning dance parties or big goodnight hugs.
Every dollar we raise goes directly to the tools, research, and care teams that give kids like Alexander the chance to grow up and ride their own bikes one day.
If you're able, we would be deeply grateful for your support. Every donation funds hope and hearts.
With gratitude and grit,
-John & Weff
