I am supporting the Courage Classic for kids like River.
River was born on February 23, 2026, at 34 weeks and weighing just 3 pounds 14 ounces. Since birth, she has faced significant health challenges, including an interrupted aortic arch (IAA), an AVSD, Trisomy 21, and renal dysplasia. Despite these adversities, River continues to demonstrate incredible bravery and strength every day.River has already undergone a successful repair of her IAA and has overcome multiple infections and other hurdles while in the CICU. She is currently making steady progress as she waits for her second open-heart surgery. This progress is a testament to her resilience and the exceptional care provided by the doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff at Children's Hospital.River is surrounded by an army of loved ones and family members who continue to pray for her and encourage her through every obstacle. She is a beautiful, mighty warrior, and we are so proud of the courage she shows in facing life's challenges.
We participate for kids like River: kids who show courage every single day. And we participate to support the caregivers who make stories like his possible.
